Lyft and LeBron James are giving thousands of young people free bikeshare memberships
<p>A bike was an important part of the basketball great’s childhood, and now he wants others to have access to them, too.</p><br /><p>Growing up in Akron, Ohio, LeBron James relied on a bike to get to basketball practice and school and visit friends. Today, recognizing that access to a bike helped change his life, his company, Uninterrupted, is partnering with Lyft to give thousands of teenagers free one-year memberships to bikeshare who wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford it—and who, like 4.5 million Americans, don’t have enough access to affordable, reliable transportation.</p><p>Read Full Story</p><br /> <br />
