The Ocean Cleanup project is now cleaning plastic out of rivers to stop it from getting to the ocean

<p>A lot of the trash in the ocean flows into it from rivers. If it can be stopped earlier, there&#x2019;s less to clean up in the ocean.</p><br /><br /><br /><p>In the Cengkareng Drain, a river that runs through the megacity of Jakarta, Indonesia, tons of plastic trash flows to the ocean each year.
